Radon

Radon is a natural occurring gas that is odorless and invisible to the human eye. In addition, radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer throughout America. 

EMC employs  trained and certified Radon professionals who will help create a Radon sampling plan to protect employees form this natural source of carcinogenic gas.

In larger facilities, radon levels can vary greatly based on HVAC systmes, dates of construction, time of day and building use.  EMC can perform both short-term testing (48-96 hours) or long term testing (90+ days).  We also have instrumentation with data-logging capabilities to help you better identify possible sources and solutions.

The US Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA) recormmends educing radon if levels are confirmed to be over 4 pCi/L
